Tax warfare

I hope you can understand my position in this post, because if you can, then that either means you are intelligent or you are successful.

I’ve paid A LOT of money in taxes over the past few years. For the longest time I just took it. It’s how the country works. My father was an accountant for decades–tax was just a part of life. Of course, I’d dance nude in the streets if we could ever get the flax tax passed, but that’s just a pipe dream.

As I’ve become more politically aware I’ve realized that unfair taxes (taxing more productive people a higher % than unproductive people) aren’t just how the country works, its how Socialism defeats incentive and success. I’ve always been a patriot. I love my country. I want the USA to succeed.

However, I no longer will blindly pay my taxes in full. I realize now that I am an unwitting participant in a tax war. Its the socialist elite versus the productive, all in the name of helping our fellow men. I am all for helping other people, but I am for it on a voluntary basis. Obama’s obvious hatred of the productive members of this country has woken me up. If I’m going to be in this tax war, dammit I’m going to fight.

I will search endlessly for tax loopholes, havens and avoidance practices that are my legal rights to pursue. I will take full advantage of these in an idealistic goal of paying zero taxes. I will also take any and all handouts or free money from the government I can get my hands on. I used to think I was above it, but as I see it, Uncle Sam owes me thousands and thousands of dollars. I’ll take it however I can get it.

I hope my fellow high earners are on board with me and perhaps soon we can wake up Washington.

What happens when the 5% of people who pay 51% of our taxes start fighting back in this tax war?
